시놉시스

연기자 지영은 동료 배우 진아와 연극 공연에 참여하고 있다. 어느 날 밤, 극단 대표 홍 대표의 계속되는 트집으로 홧김에 극장을 벗어나는 두 사람. 거리 두기로 인해 갈 곳이 없던 이들은 렌터카를 타고 부산으로 떠난다.

‘정릉의 새벽’으로 제17회 제천국제음악영화제를 찾았던 이승현 감독의 신작 ‘부산에 가면’은 가수 최백호가 부른 동명의 노래 가사와 잘 어울리는 이야기를 들려준다. 연극 공연을 준비 중인 지영과 진아는 극단 대표와 마찰을 빚은 후 충동적으로 부산행을 택한다. 풀리지 않는 일을 뒤로한 채 겨울 바다로 달리는 두 사람은 렌터카를 노래방으로, 모래밭을 무대로 만든다. 이 터널의 끝을 상상하며, 지영과 진아는 최백호의 노랫말처럼 ‘파도에 부서져 깨진 조각들을 마주 본다.’ 지영을 연기하는 강진아, 진아를 연기하는 박지영 배우의 크로스를 보는 기쁨도 그 길에 수놓아져 있다. This film beautifully weaves a story that resonates with the lyrics of the song of the same title performed by Choi Baek-ho. Ji-young and Jin-ah, who are busy preparing for a play, impulsively decide to embark on a journey to Busan after a heated disagreement with the theater company's head. Leaving behind unresolved matters, the two find themselves turning their rental car into a karaoke room and a beach into their stage. As they imagine the light at the end of the tunnel, they "face the fragments shattered by the waves," echoing the words of Choi Baek-ho's song. Kang Jin-ah, portraying Ji-young, and Park Jiyeong, portraying Jin-ah, deliver a delightful performance. (Nam Sunwoo)

  • 1989년생. 대학에서 연극영화를 전공했다. 이후 연극, 영화에서 배우로 작업을 하다가 단편영화 ‘Min sang’(2018)을 연출하고 서울독립영화제에서 첫 상영을 했다. 그 후로 연기 활동을 하면서 추가로 5편의 단편영화를 연출했다. 그중 ‘밤의 침묵’(2019)은 22회 대전독립영화제에서 촬영상을 수상했으며, ‘정릉의 새벽’(2021)으로 14회 라카비나 국제중편영화제에서 최우수배우상을 수상, ‘오늘의 영화’(2023)는 24회 전주국제영화제에서 특별언급상을 포함해 2관왕을 수상했다. 이후 서울독립영화제 크리에이티브 LAB과 한국영화아카데미 사전제작과정을 거치며 장편 시나리오 집필 중에 있다. ‘부산에 가면’은 그의 6번째 작품이다.
    
    Born in 1989, he majored in theater and film in college. After working as an actor in theater and film, he directed the short film Minsang(2018), which premiered at the Seoul Independent Film Festival. Since then, he has directed five more short films while continuing his acting career. Among them, Silence Of The Night(2019) won the cinematography award at the 22nd Daejeon Independent Film Festival, and Dawn Of Jeongneung(2021) won the best actor award at the 14th La Cabina International Film Festival. He is currently preparing a feature film with the support of the Seoul Independent Film Festival and the Korean Academy of Film Arts.
