Opening / Closing Ceremonies

    Is on-site booking available for the Opening Ceremony?

    A

    Yes, a limited number of Opening Ceremony tickets will be available for on-site booking on the day of the event. However, as tickets may sell out quickly, we recommend reserving in advance online.

  • Q

    How can I reserve tickets for the Closing Ceremony?

    A

    The Closing Ceremony is free to reserve online and operates with reserved seating.
    If you wish to attend, please make a reservation in advance through the official ticketing website.

    When does online reservation open?

    A

    Online reservations open in stages starting from Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM, and are available until 10 minutes before the screening begins.

    My reservation does not appear on the website.

    A

    You can check your reservation details under [My Page > My Reservations].

  • Q

    Can I get a paper ticket issued?

    A

    This year, the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will operate with mobile tickets only.

  • Q

    Can someone else pick up my reserved ticket on my behalf?

    A

    No. Admission is only permitted upon presentation of the mobile ticket by the person who made the reservation.
    Therefore, proxy pickup or entry by another person is not allowed. We appreciate your understanding.

    How can I reserve a movie ticket voucher?

    A

    If you have a movie ticket voucher, you can reserve your ticket at the on-site ticket booth.
    Please make sure to complete ticket issuance at least 10 minutes before the screening begins.

    How many tickets can I reserve per person for online booking?

    A

    You can reserve up to 4 tickets per person.

  • Q

    If a screening is sold out online, can I still book a ticket on-site?

    A

    Even if a screening is sold out online, a limited number of seats may be available for on-site sales.
    Please check availability at the on-site ticket booth for the screening in question.

    What payment methods are available for ticket purchases?

    A

    On-site payments can be made by credit card, debit card, Munhwa Nuri Card, cash, Jecheon local currency, or paid package reservation vouchers.
    Some payment methods may be restricted depending on on-site operating conditions.

    How can I receive my ticket?

    A

    The 2025 Jecheon International Music & Film Festival operates with mobile tickets only.
    Once your reservation is complete, a mobile ticket will be sent via text message, and it can also be viewed in My Page.
    Please present your active mobile ticket at the theater entrance on the day of the screening.

Cancellation & Refund

    How is the refund fee applied when cancelling a ticket?

    A

    For cancellations made on the day of the screening, a fee of KRW 1,000 per ticket will be charged.
    Please note that for special ticket types such as wheelchair seating or group reservations, cancellation and refund policies may differ.
    Be sure to check the [Advance Application Guide] for detailed information.

    How long does it take to receive a refund after cancelling my reservation?

    A

    Refunds are generally processed within 3-7 days, depending on your payment method, card company, bank, or mobile carrier policies.
    If your refund has not been completed within this period after cancellation, please contact your card company or mobile carrier directly.

  • Q

    Can I partially cancel my ticket reservation?

    A

    Partial cancellations are not available. You must cancel the entire reservation and rebook.
    Please note that your original seats may not be available during rebooking, so we recommend making reservations carefully.

  • Q

    Can I get a refund if I cannot attend due to personal reasons?

    A

    Refunds are not available if you fail to attend due to personal reasons or a simple change of mind.
    Please note that once the cancellation deadline on the day of the screening (up to 30 minutes before the screening starts) has passed, both cancellations and refunds are no longer possible.

    Who is eligible for ticket discounts and how are they applied?

    A

    This year, the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival offers the following discount benefits:

    How can I apply in advance for wheelchair seating or group viewing?

    A

    If you wish to use wheelchair seating or arrange a group viewing, please download the application form from the [Ticket Reservation > Ticket Information] page on the official festival website. Complete the form and submit it via email to operation@jimff.org. Once your application is confirmed, we will contact you individually to guide you through the reservation process.
    ¡Ø If email is not available, please contact the Operations Team by phone.
    ¡Ø Applications may close early depending on the deadline and seat availability.

    What documents are required to receive a discount?

    A

    You must present valid ID or proof of eligibility at the time of on-site ticket issuance. Required documents vary by discount category, as shown below:.

Admission

    Can I enter with a screenshot of my reservation details?

    A

    No. Entry will not be permitted with captured images (such as screenshots) of your reservation details. You must present a real-time active mobile ticket at the theater entrance.
    You can check your mobile ticket through:
    • My Page > My Reservations
    • The link provided in the confirmation text message sent at the time of booking
    ¡Ø Your name may be checked against the reservation, and entry may be denied if the reservation cannot be verified.

    What are the age requirements for each viewing rating?

    A

    The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival complies with the film rating classifications set by the Korea Media Rating Board. Entry is restricted according to the viewing rating.

    ¡Ø Viewing ratings follow the classification of the Korea Media Rating Board.
    ¡Ø Valid photo ID (including student ID) showing date of birth is required for entry.
    ¡Ø Children under the age of 5 are generally not permitted in screening venues.
    ¡Ø ¡°Guardian¡± refers to an adult aged 19 or older.

    Can I enter if I arrive after the movie has started?

    A

    Yes. Entry is permitted up to 15 minutes after the screening begins; however, your assigned seat may not be guaranteed. Please note that late entry may disturb other audience members, so kindly follow the instructions of theater staff when taking your seat.

    Can I bring food or drinks into the theater?

    A

    To ensure a pleasant viewing environment, only bottled beverages with caps are allowed in all screening venues except Jecheon Cultural Center.
