Secrets and Stories Behind Notes and Chords

ModeratorKim Tae-hoon, Bae Soon-tak

Not only the intention of a director does matter when watching a film. There are also a music director or film director’s secret stories behind the soundtrack of a film. Pop columnist Kim Tae-hoon will talk about how music tells us many things without being seen and makes us feel touched, thrilled, afraid, or sad. This event will be a meaningful opportunity to decipher codes and messages hidden in musical notes, which has not been much discussed so far.

On the first day of the event, we will talk about the opening film Da Capo and On the Road, Khaosan Tango. On the second day, the witty raconteur, Kim Tae-hoon will give an insight into the soundtracks of The Hateful Eight directed by Quentin Tarantino and The Legend of 1900 directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, which were created by Ennio Morricone, a legendary composer who passed away on July 6.
