Cinema, Music, and Ennio Morricone

Ennio Morricone, a legendary composer who left a mark in the history of film music in the 20th century, died at the age of 92 on July 6, 2020.

The JIMFF 2020 features a concert in memory of Ennio Morricone, the film score maestro who took his last breath after leaving behind great soundtracks for hundreds of films including A Fistful Of Dollars, Once Upon A Time In America, The Mission, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Love Affair, and The Hateful Eight.

With the best musicians giving performances in different forms such as concerto and monologue, this event will be an important opportunity to remember the late composer, experience the greatest films of all time in a new way, and have a better understanding of melodies familiar to our ears.
