Helmut celebrates his 60th birthday on the day that he is actually turning 57 due to a miscalculation by his wife. In this movie, the facade of petit-bourgeois domesticity is peeled away as old friends drop by to offer some well-meaning advice but end up making bizarre declarations of love and the transience of life.

1984년 스위스 출생. 2005년, 2006년 덴마크 대학의 유로피안 영화 과정을 수료한 뒤 1년간 취리히 대학에서 사회 인류학과 영화학, 정치학을 공부했다. 2007년 10월부터 독일의 루드비히스부르크에 있는 바뎀 뷔르템베르크 필름아카데미에서 연출을 공부하고 있다.
