존 리들리
1965년 위스콘신에서 태어난 존 리들리는 텔레비전에서 그의 경력을 시작했다. 1990년대 [마틴 & 존 라로퀘트 쇼] 등의 작가였고, 1997년 첫 번째 소설 [스트레이 도그즈]를 출간했다. 직접 각본을 쓴 <콜드 하트>로 감독 데뷔를 한 뒤에 TV 쇼 [이발소] 등과 영화 <언더커버 브라더>를 만들었다. <노예 12년>(2013)의 각본을 써서 2014년 아카데미에서 각색상을 받았다.
