A Muslim family in rural Bengal performs Mansamangal Kavya, a Hindu folk epic, through 7 distinct Pata Chitra paintings and the ancient folk tradition of Patua Sangeet on the banks of the Khirai River.

A filmmaker, scholar, curator, and educator, he explores archives, memory, ecology, and cultural histories. His films have screened at festivals including IDSFFK, EAEFF, and Visions du Réel, where Song of Behula premiered. He received the NETPAC Special Mention Award at ArCuRea 2024.
