Marianne and Pétion live in Haiti and wait impatiently for a call from their son in the USA. The promise of the American dream now seems to elude them, as the line between hope and reality becomes increasingly blurred.

Haitian director and producer. He has made a trilogy of short films inspired by the story of his father: Agwe, Dreams Like Paper Boats, and Blue Heart. He is currently working on his first feature documentary, Job 1:21, and is also developing a feature fiction film, Pays poète éternel.
