Synopsis
Musician Danpyeonseon forms the band Danpyeonseon Moments and begins working on their debut album, Long Live Music. He embraces the energy of low culture as a way to imagine a better world, yet he soon discovers that reality is always one step ahead in its own vulgarity. As South Korea is shaken by the December 3 martial law crisis, the world grows increasingly chaotic. In response, he has only one option left: to keep singing, keep gathering people, and keep proclaiming, “Long Live Music!”

Building on extensive experience as a cinematographer across diverse genres, he directs documentaries that foreground social voices. He focuses on those pushed beyond the boundaries of systems and language.
HWANG Da-eun
Exploring narratives of care and labor through her co-authored book Care and Work 2, she documents women’s stories where caregiving and labor intersect. Through calling attention to marginalized subjects, she rearticulates the social value of invisible care that sustains communities.
