Films in Live - One Fine Spring Day
Films in Live was designed for the global exchanges of Korean film music. A film concert shows a film, and the audience appreciates the orchestra live-performance of the music in the film from beginning to end; this type of concert is a combination of high-quality classical concerts and film screenings, which is already loved around the world. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in Live by the composer John Williams will be held for the first time in Korea at the Jecheon Airfield Stage this summer and has already been exported worldwide and promoted his film music continuously. To the same effect, the festival decided to make the first Korean original film concerts to promote Korean film music to the world. They include Leafie, a Hen into the Wild (Music by Lee Jisoo, Dir. Oh Sung-yoon, 2011) consisting of world-class orchestral music that is too precious to be drown, and One Fine Spring Day (Music by Cho Sung-woo, Dir. Hur Jinho, 2001) which already has many fans overseas. Although there were difficulties as we prepared the concerts for the first time, we believe that you will be stunned by the high quality of Korean film music through the two Films in Live that will be held on the outdoor stage of Uirimji.
