I’m a retired artist and a filmmaker who is now dreaming of becoming a pianist. Life centers around the piano. Footage of myself reacting to social issues such as the Sewol Ferry incident, Gangjeong Village, and the May 18th Gwangju Uprising are accompanied by the piano. I decided to make playing the piano a job and not a hobby. Then one day, an entertainment agency proposes a solo concert.

Can the sound of the waves be seen and the sunlit ripples be heard? Oh Jaehyeong, once a painter and a long-time filmmaker who now spends most of his time with his piano, tries to make it happen with his piano by combining videos and various performances. The melody from the keys scatters in the air but the peace his fingers pray for permeates into the film. The film is available barrier-free with closed captions for all Korean audience.(Nam Sunwoo)
