‘Take On Me’ by A-Ha is a typical one hit wonder song. Yet they’ve sold over fifty million albums worldwide and still tour to this day. Amazingly it’s true: they consistently release new records and actively go on world tours. A-Ha: The Movie tells us how this was possible. Meticulous with their sound, the band had years of struggle but through the ups and downs, it was the music itself that kept the three members together for decades. If the aim of the documentary was to completely reverse any preconceived notions about A-Ha, then it succeeded at this. (LEE Yongchul)
