PROGRAM NOTE

Faith leaves London for Servia to study Gypsy music. Soon after she meets Roma violinist, Branko whom she falls in love with and marries. This intimate documentary follows their relationship over a seven-year period. They started this new chapter of life together despite language barriers as they shared the same love and enthusiasm for music. However, as they start searching for better opportunities for their career outside the small town in Serbia, their relationship starts to crumble. The documentary uncovers every stage of their relationship: their love, hate, and their loss of trust in each other. At the same time, the story manages to offer a cheerful energy that only Gypsy music can bring. (KIM Sohye)
