Launched in 2025, Music InSight is Korea’s first competition dedicated to feature film scores. It spotlights the artistic achievements of professional Korean film composers. Composer Kim Tae-seong won the inaugural Grand Prize for Exhuma at the 21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival.

As before, 94 alumni from the Jecheon Film Music Academy—a key hub for emerging talent—selected the preliminary shortlist. They named seven finalists: 3670 (composed by LEE Soobin), HI-FIVE (KIM Junseok), The King of Kings (KIM Taeseong), Manok (KIM Sawol), NO OTHER CHOICE (CHO Young-wuk), The People Upstairs (Dalpalan), and The Square (JEONG Yongjin). The jury will award one composer the Music InSight Grand Prize, featuring a trophy and 15 million KRW.​
