Sound & Vision

Sound & Vision explores the nature of images & sounds and asks fundamental questions about ¡°what is a film?¡± This year it introduces 2 feature films and 3 short films including Rewind & Play, Piano Prism, Neon Phantom, Full Memory, and Son Chant. Rewind & Play is a representation of jazz artist Telonius Monk, who reconstructs his story with his own voice against the media that reproduces stereotypes about this music genius. The original audio-visual performance Piano Prism, which even uses barrier-free narration as an important aesthetic element of the film, is a masterpiece that skillfully shows the purpose of the section Sound & Vision. The other three shorts are also challenging and extending the boundaries of Cinema beyond the convention of traditional film narratives.
