Dynamics
Dynamics brings together the latest Korean and international music films to overlook the diversity and dynamism of contemporary music films, introduces a total of 44 various music films this year. Planet A features Korean indie-musicians singing about the coexistence of human beings, the earth, and life; Run Raven Run examines the roots of Romanian gypsy music and its influence on Western music; My Name Is Zolzaya deals with a female musician who has entered the world of Khoomei, the Mongolian traditional vocal style which used to be the exclusive property of men; and For the Left Hand represents a 78-year-old man’s challenge, who had paralysis of his right hand when he was little; he tries to perform Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand. Waiting for more audience, the festival showcases these high-quality Korean premieres and the music films highly acclaimed by audiences.
