Thirty-something Gregory Morel has inherited his father’s position of Judicial Officer. He enforces and recovers court orders and legal claims: bankruptcy, property seizures and evictions. Not a very exciting job. While making his debtor rounds, he meets reclusive singer Michel Delpech. The retired 70s French pop idol has accumulated years of unpaid taxes and parking tickets. Morel, whose father adulated Delpech and played his songs throughout Morel’s childhood, cannot bring himself to confiscate the singer’s belongings. So he decides to help Delpech settle his debts...
Met as a journalist and a photographer, Gregory and Stephane have been working together for more than 10 years. They used to write articles about society and politics together and later also made a TV documentary. Since 2007, they started working on Michel(2012), a movie about a popular 70s French singer-songwriter, Michel Delpech, in which Michel appears as himself.
