Rene Pannevis graduated from Utrecht University with a bachelor's degree in Film Study. In the same year he enrolled in M.F.A. at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. In 2010 he started his full time job at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. He directed Boon Keng Midnight, Junkie XL and DJ Tiësto, screened at several festivals including Palm Springs Short, Brussels and Singapore Film Fest.
