Sam Holzmann inherits a family-owned violin shop after his father's death. The traditional luthier's workshop is facing inevitable bankruptcy with no orchestra in town and all the father's customers gone. Sam's mother, Barbara, decides to save the shop by introducing electric violins to the market that stands in conflict with Sam's esthetic principles. He fights to accept change and find his place in the modern world.
Karolina Mikolajczak mastered the craft of filmmaking at Warsaw Film School, London Film School and New York Film Academy, Los Angeles. Her first movie, 〈The Father〉, was well-received at the prestigious XXX Poznan Film Forum of Polish-Jewish relationships. She produced over 20 short movies around the world.
