PROGRAM NOTE

Bente is 11 years old and she has the voice of an angel. Desperate to become a singer Bente convinces her mother to audition for the TV show ‘The Voice Kids’ and her life completely changes. Suddenly she becomes a star at her school and has to make adult choices, which are sometimes too heavy for a little girl. As the show goes on her doubts grow bigger.

Marjin Frank

Born in Amsterdam, Marjin Frank studied documentary at Film and Television Academy in Germany in 2007 and currently works as a documentary director. Bente’s Voice was invited to the the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.
