Late at night, at a parking lot, a man remains inside his car. After a few thoughts, he picks up a violin next to him. As he plays the violin, a string trio coming from the radio harmonizes with the sound, making the music fill up the entire space. It’s the moment of one’s life, when one encounters his or her abandoned dream.
Yoo Dae-eol graduated from Korean National University of Arts in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Film and Multimedia. Since 2005, he has been working as a director in a production company Messmassage, and making short music films awarded in a number of film festivals. Trio is his recent movie in a series of music films, of which the first movie is The Brass Quintet(2010).
