Jean-Charles Mbotti Malolo grew up in Lyon’s suburbs. His graduation film, <My Heart is a Metronome>, won the Best Debut Prize at the Hiroshima Festival in 2008. Dancing has always been one of his main means of expression. This made him direct <The Sense of Touch> in 2014, a film selected in more than 60 selections in festivals.
