Gauthier, a young journalist, learns from his mother that he is the illegitimate son of Guy Jamet, a popular French singer whose heyday stretched unevenly from the 1960’s to the nineties. Guy is currently promoting a new album of old material and heads on tour. Armed with a camera, Gauthier decides to follow Guy, recording his daily routine and his concerts to create a documentary portrait.
Alex Lutz is a French actor, writer and director born in Strasbourg, 1978. He went into theater in 1994 and acted and directed plays of numerous writers including Bertolt Brecht and Heiner Müller. He later became popular after appearing in several TV series and he starred in films from 2013. In 2015, he made <Le Talent de Mes Amis>, in which he directed and was the lead actor, and in 2018, he won best leading actor in César for <Guy>, the second film that he directed and was the lead actor.
