SYNOPSIS

Adil is seven years old and lives in the suburbs of Casablanca. His father is a waiter. He does not like his job and wants his son to aim for a better future. One day, his father takes Adil to a wedding where he is working. There, a traditional Moroccan band is playing. Adil had never seen a violin before and is mesmerized by the instrument.

Lamia Bengelloun

Lamia Bengelloun was born in 1996 in Rabat, Morocco. She studied Ballet and Contemporary dance, piano, and photography. She then decided to focus on filmmaking and moved to London to study filmmaking where she directed many student films and moved to Paris to pursue her master degree at the university la Sorbonne.
