Konrad ‘Conny’ Plank is undoubtedly one of the most innovative sound designers of his time. The recordings realized in his studio near Cologne between the 60s and 80s, revolutionized the music world. The documentary is the search for the person and producer Conny Plank, a journey through music history, a son getting to know his father.

Reto Caduff

Reto Caduff launched a record company 'Lux Noise' at the age of 18. He moved on to work as host for Swiss National Radio and subsequently became a producer and director at Swiss Television. His documentary film on the 80’s hard rock legend ‘Krokus’ won the 2004 Zurich Film Award for best film. Stephan Plank, a son of Conny Plank, co-directed the film following the trace of his father who passed away when he was 13.
